Happy holidays from everyone here at Not A Tad Bad (as always, this is Kevin writing this but I imagine everyone at NATB would wish you the same).

As the year draws to a close, I'd like to thank everyone who helped us over this year to create another amazing movie or two including a few Worst Ways To Die and "Hip Hop, Cherry Pop", our strongest flim yet. Kudos also go out to people who helped us a bit on getting our little website up and running too. And not to mention Flim Fest '07, which was such a great time I can't begin to put it into words (its a good thing we have a page dedicated to the event). Thanks a bunch everyone- 2007 was a keeper.

For those looking for some holiday related cheer, Ryan Murphy of Rohjelio Studios and myself pumped out a Christmas-related short on youtube, so enjoy the movie-making cheer! Happy holidays everyone, and may 2008 be a blast for everybody.

Not A Tad Bad has put an early Halloween surprise up online for everybody:The Worst Stories Ever Told!

Check our YouTube page and the flim's respective page to watch the full flim, from begining to end, to get yourself in the holiday spirit. While the movie has been broken into pieces for YouTube viewings, I added some transitions for an extra laugh or two (hopefully) to make the experience flow a little better for everyone, so enjoy!

The autumn weather draws near, flim fans. With the colds winds beginning to rear there season-changing heads, we bring you some new activity on our fair site.

First off, I swear we're working on the DVD section along with the "Hip Hop, Cherry Pop" DVD, which many people have been asking us about. I've been slaving at the final cut and working on the bonus features (Commentary, blooper reel, etc) with Joe, so have no fear. It's coming.

In other news, the site has had some small touch ups recently. Our blog's have headers now (wow.) and the Flimography section looks a bit different. If you have any thoughts, let us know in our Community section. Speaking of which, we added some links recently to our friends at Penguins On My Underwear, a internet-based "TV" show made by some swell people. Check their website and episodes out through the community page, it rocks. The links on the main page (here) have been changed a bit. They're a bit bulky looking, but I'll make some better ones soon, I promise.

Several Flim specific pages have been spoofed up or, simply put, made. Look through the Flimography to find some new tidbits and trivia about each movie- including the new-to-virtually-everyone Beowulf Gag Reel! While nothing amazing, it's something Paul Butler helped us un-Earth from the past, so applaud him and eyeball it at the Beowulf page.

Well, that about sums it up. Keep watching the site everyone, and enjoy fall!

Flim Fest=Amazing Success.

More details to come soon, but for now, take pride in this photograph as a summary as to how awesome a night it was. We had one or two hiccups technically, but every feature was shown. Francis/Drowning was awesome, the attendance was sure fire, and the night went as smooth as a baby's behind.

Check out Flim Fest 07's page for some photos and a recap of the night.

Flim Fest is within a week folks. Make sure your schedules are cleared for the amazing night ahead on the 22nd. Better Life and Lemon Demon will be lighting up the stage with their performances, which will be between many local independent motion pictures, so get ready for popcorn and good times ahead.

In the mean time, did you notice we have a new logo on the site? Yes, Joe drew us up a nice one that is on the site's splash page and located now to your left. Clicking it will bring you to the "About Us" page if you haven't seen it already, for those interested.

Also, I put together the last video blog for "Hip Hop, Cherry Pop" today while I was editing the flim. It's looking good, I'm guessing a solid half hour on this one. And I mean solid- no filler robot fights or old men screaming inanely. Enjoy the blog!

So, "Hip Hop, Cherry Pop" is nearing the final stages of production, I come bearing great news: we shot day 1 of Zombie 3. That's right. And here's the damn proof:

We've got a long way to go, but as you can tell from the clip, I am very, very excited we got to start. The footage got a bit dark during the shooting, but nothing terrible. We're not reaching for a $50 million budget or anything, but some of the shots came out rather awesome. The effects and makeup work were top notch (makeup courtesy of Michael Pearson).

Expect more info before summer's end!

Greetings everyone. As editing is going underway with our newest flim, I'd like to spread word that Flim Fest has been solidified and planned for August 22. Check out our Flim Fest page for all the details and directions or eyeball it on Facebook. $4 for a ton of movies, animation, and bands, what else could you ask?

Also, we're going to be on nation wide television! The CW recently contacted us and will be showing a Worst Way To Die on an upcoming show this fall call "Online Nation," so here's to breaking out to a bigger audience, eh?

-Kevin

8-2-07

"Hip Hop, Cherry Pop" has its trailer online now! Check it out under the flim's respective page or the YouTube channel. The flim is entering post production, so there wont be much more info until the flim is premiered, so hold out until then. I'm sure it'll kill you.

More and more of "Hip Hop, Cherry Pop" has been shot! Soon we'll have the entire thing on tape and editing shall begin.

This week we managed to shoot two major scenes involving TJ O'Brien's character Trevor. We also managed to gain permission to use a song from Jonas Eriksson for the movie. It's a cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing in the Dark," and man I couldn't be happier to have it in the flim. Stay tuned for a trailer soon, we shall not disappoint!

Hey, productivity is a snowballing activity gaining some momentum around here, so here's the new stuff to check out:

We posted video blogs 3, 4, and 5 for "Hip Hop, Cherry Pop" on YouTube, so check em out! We'll have a better looking and downloadable one online soon, so keep an eye on the site until then.

We also put together a new opening clip for our projects! It's a nice departure from the older two, but seems to be getting a warm reception as to how it shows off our style. Either way, check it out!

Brendan Killion also got his own biography page in the Cast and Crew section, so look it over with the other bio pages already put together. You might just learn something!

It's been a nice few days with all the content being added, experience it all!

-Kevin

7-28-07

Long time no update, yes?

The wait has been worth it, as today we're going to have a new Worst Ways To Die, production stills from "Hip Hop, Cherry Pop," and a video blog or two from the same flim later on. The site should have more activity now as my primary computer has been replaced with something roughly twice as fast with twice the memory etc. Here's to activity and the future!

PS: Expect some Zombie 3 stuff in about a week!

-Kevin

UPDATE: Worst Ways To Die 8 has been added to the YouTube page! However, YouTube's lousy codec results in the video's quality suffering a good deal, so watch it with this in mind! It shall look incredible on the DVD, I promise! The version under the flimography section looks a bit better, but not much.

7-15-07

So, we shot more of "Hip Hop, Cherry Pop" tonight!

Joe and I managed to wrap up one more amazing scene for the movie using some new lighting equipment we bought earlier. We're very, very excited about this project so far and can't wait for the town hall scene today with everybody. Expect some pictures posted afterwards on the site.

We're working on posting the newer blogs, but as my computer is dead we'll need to use Joe's laptop, so hopefully you'll see some new stuff soon! Until then, stay cool.

-Kevin

7-12-07

We suffered a great loss this week: my editing computer finally died. It's power supply conked out after lasting five years of abuse and flim editing. It shall be missed and most likely fixed up. I'm going to be picking up a new machine soon, but until then video blogs and clips shall be few and far between. Give me two weeks.

"Hip Cop, Cherry Pop" had its third day of shooting two days ago. We have successfully shot over 50% of the movie, so expect a trailer as soon as I get a new computer up and going. It is looking really solid, and the third day of shooting allowed for us to add to our already large cast. Here's to production!

Also, I will be assembling the props and what have you for "The Never Ending Zombie Movie: Part 3" this week, so expect a still or two!

-Kevin

7-9-07

Alright, here's an update on "Hip Hop, Cherry Pop."

We managed to shoot our second day today. While we weren't able to shoot three scenes as we hoped, we did manage to finish 2 strongly. There's stills in the "Hip Hop, Cherry Pop" section, so check it out. There's a video blog on YouTube right now also, so eyeball it!

We're organizing a gathering for our infamous town hall scene next Monday at 3:30 at the Pembroke Rec Center Gym. If you can make it- COME! We need as many people as possible. Everyone is invited- so don't be shy! The address is here, so get some directions if you need them! If you have any questions, email us and we'll work something out. Until then, stay cool and enjoy the summer.

-Kevin

7-7-07

So, what's happened in the last day or so. Well, we managed to pump out another short movie with Rojhelio Studios. Joe and I came up with the story a short while ago, and I shot the movie and edited along with Pat Ryan and Ryan Murphy. It's a goodie, so check it out!

In other news, we'll be shooting some more of "Hip Hop, Cherry Pop" soon, so keep an eye out for a new video blog and stills!

-Kevin

7-6-07

Hey, we're officially http://www.notatadbad.net. Pretty snazy, eh? Hopefully this makes the site easier to approach for the common internet user. If you would like an email with us (like say kevin@notatadbad.net) we can hook you up no problem, just contact us at our email, which is now coincidentally notatadbad@notatadbad.net.

The site will be a little bit rough for about a day or two as I remake every page under our new host, but the work is well worth it. Enjoy the site everyone, and feel free to leave comments under our community section on what we should to to improve it.

-Kevin

7-5-07

Some minor news for the post Fourth-o-July era.

There is now a News Archives section on the site, so if for whatever reason you need to look at our older updates/blog, there it is.

Also, The Worst Ways To Die got an update feature the newest addition: number seven. Enjoy!

"Hip Hop, Cherry Pop" will have a new video blog circa Sunday night or Monday, so keep an eye out on the page.

-Kevin

7-3-07

"Hip Hop, Cherry Pop" has begun!

TJ, Joe, and myself (Kevin) shot roughly three scenes today. So far the movie is looking incredible. We all can't wait to shoot some more soon, but until then you'll just have to wait. Expect a video blog and a bonus treat sometime in the next 24 hours.

UPDATE: We have a few pictures from our first day posted on the "Hip Hop, Cherry Pop" page, along with our first video blog (which is also on our YouTube Channel). Plus there's a new Worst Ways To Die! Enjoy!

-Kevin

6-30-07

We've begun plans for Flim Fest 07 this year, so expect some updates by July's end. We're aiming for the Beal House in Kingston this year along with at least three bands to accompany the usual movie and animation showings. There is actually a page for Flim Fest 07, so keep an eye on it for any updates.

Also, I added some pages for "Hip Hop, Cherry Pop", "The Never Ending Zombie Movie: Part 3", and "Suburban Land Pirates".

-Kevin

6-28-07

The site got some updates over the past day or so, let's review:

There is now a Community page, which provides links to local musicians, movie makers, and so forth. Check it out and see what other people are putting together from record labels to short movies.

An About Us page was added, giving some insight on what Not A Tad Bad Flim Co. is and where it came from. It'll be a nice history lesson for some.

More profile pages were added under Cast and Crew as well, along with a section for The Worst Ways To Die under Flims. Content is the conern right now, so we'll keep trying to flesh out the site with more movies, clips, interviews, and so forth as time rolls on.

Oh, and one more thing. We have a new video on our YouTube Channel that features a cute kitten. Enjoy it!

-Kevin

6-27-07

Some news in the world-o-flim today.

Joe and I (Kevin) managed to pump out some details on "Hip Hop, Cherry Pop" and will be picking up some final costume supplies soon. Expect a trailer or something in around two weeks with some production stills sooner. Two words: Corn Smith.

In unrelated news, Ché, Joe, and I shot a new Worst Ways To Die on Tuesday, making that six. It'll be online shortly on Google and YouTube, so keep an eye out.

UPDATE: Worst Ways To Die 6 is currently on our YouTube Channel, so go watch and let us know what you think. The Google Video version is under The Flims section now too.

The Worst Ways To Die now have their own section under The Flims, so be sure to check it out.

That's all the news for now, thanks for stopping by the site!

-Kevin

6-25-07

The site has been launched!

Here's out new little home on the internet. While we have a few other locations to find our materials, (videos, groups, forums) they have all been linked from our site directly to the left. Not A Tad Bad will be bringing all of our announcements on projects, parties, premiers, and what have you here. The first month will probably warrant a lot of updates such as a link section to our sister sites, friends, etc, as well as a video blog on our current productions.

We're going to make this one work. Joe and I are really pumped for the new flims this summer and cannot wait to get them in front of a screen. If you've got any questions or comments, feel free to send us an email at NotATadBad@gmail.com.

We hope you enjoy everything here. It has always been a dream of ours to get a decent web presence, so let's hope this does the trick and brings our material to a wider audience. Rock on.

-Kevin
